Members of the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM-RCA) have handed over filming and editing gear to the "Notre Dame de Fatima" parish film centre in Bangui.
This equipment was donated by Mundo Negro publishers, who contacted Caritas Castrense so that, through the military personnel deployed in the country, it would be possible to deliver it to the parish.
The equipment includes video and photographic cameras, a photographic drone, projectors, a computer and photographic printers, as well as supplies and accessories that no doubt will be extremely useful for the students at the centre.
The Spanish staff was welcomed by Father Medard, who, after receiving the material, showed them around the church and the workshops, where they were able to see some of the work done by the school's pupils. He also explained the attack on the parish church on 1 May 2018 during the celebration of a service, which resulted in the death of the parish priest and five other civilians.
