In order to celebrate the end of the basic training period (Elementary Training Course for All Weapons), conducted by the Training and Education Pillars of the European Union mission in Central African Republic (EUTM-RCA) with the Central African Armed Forces (FACA) -in which our military personnel are integrated-, a military parade was held early in the morning of March 13 at the Kassai Camp (Bangui).
The purpose of the ceremony was presenting to the Flag of the Central African Republic, all 438 fresh recruits who graduated from the course and symbolically consolidating them as new soldiers.

As part of the 'Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration' (DDR) project sponsored by United Nations, 272 graduates were former members of armed groups; their integration together with young people who have recently joined the Army has been a success for the training system that EUTM-RCA is implementing within the country.
