Spanish Navy's 'Rayo' welcomes Spain's Ambassador to Israel during his stay in Haifa

• Upon his arrival, the Ambassador was honoured with a voice salute

Maritime Action Vessel (BAM) 'Rayo', SNMCMG-2 flagship, hosted in the port of Haifa the visit of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Israel, Manuel Gomez-Acebo, who was accompanied by his deputy, the Honorary Consul and Spanish Defence Attaché in Israel.

The visit began with a reception followed by brief lectures and a briefing on the capabilities and mission of both the SNMCMG-2 and BAM 'Rayo'.

Then, the visitors toured the ship's most relevant quarters. At the end of the tour, the ambassador signed the Book of Honour.

This was followed by an exchange of gifts to commemorate the visit. All health protocols against the COVID-19 pandemic were orserved at all times.
