7th Squad Commander Training Module of the European Union Military Mission in Support of Ukraine begins

- It will be taught by instructors from the 63rd Infantry Regiment ‘Barcelona’.
The training of a new group of Ukrainian military personnel has begun within the framework of the European Union Military Operation in Support of Ukraine (EUMAM-UA) and under the operational control of the Operations Command. This is the seventh specialised training module aimed at acquiring tactical, moral and leadership skills to enable them to command light infantry squad-type units (SQUAD COMMANDER). The training is under the direction of the Motorised Infantry Battalion ‘Cataluña’ I/63, belonging to the Infantry Regiment ‘Barcelona’,
The module, with an approximate duration of 6 weeks, takes place in the instruction and training facilities used by the ‘Cataluña’ Battalion in Barcelona, as well as in the ‘General Álvarez de Castro’ Base, in San Clemente de Sasebas.
The experience and professionalism of the instructors of the 63rd Infantry Regiment ensures that future squad leaders can acquire the necessary critical skills and competencies.
