  • Under the command of a team of instructors, the training of future Platoon Commanders of the Ukrainian Army continues in ‘San Clemente Sasebas’

The 6th Squad Commander Module began in mid-May and is being developed in the town of San Clemente de Sasebas, in Gerona, Spain.

Since the beginning of the module, the selected Ukrainian military personnel have shown extraordinary commitment and dedication and are currently halfway through this rigorous training process.

In this leadership module, future platoon leaders have already acquired critical skills in several areas essential to combat (planning, combat casualty management or conventional defensive and offensive).

The progress of these soldiers has exceeded expectations. With more than half of the training module completed, they have not only demonstrated a remarkable evolution in their tactical skills, but also in leadership and resilience, essential aspects to guide their men during combat.

The soldiers of the Regiment 'Barcelona' I/63 involved in this training module, work tirelessly, with all their knowledge and dedication at the disposal of the Ukrainian personnel, and face in the final part of the module a major challenge, the training of future platoon leaders in combat in urban areas.
