Toledo Training Coordination Center's Combat Training Unit conducts Transfer of Authority (TOA)

• The TOA takes place among members of the Toledo Combat Training Unit of the European Union Military Mission in Support of Ukraine (EUMAM UA).(EUMAM UA)

The Transfer of Authority (TOA) ceremony took place in the Plaza de Armas of the Infantry Academy of Toledo, culminating the handover process between the Combat Training Unit (UFC) of the EUMAM UA III contingent and the EUMAM UA IV contingent.

The military parade was presided over by Colonel Juan Carlos Fernández Hernández, head of the 45th Infantry Regiment ‘Garellano’ and Deputy Commander of the Toledo Training Coordination Center (TTCC).

At the handover ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Julio Juan Fernández Álvarez de Sotomayor, head of the UFC of TTCC III, handed over the unit's scrip to his successor, Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Moreno Sánchez del Águila, who will take over command of the UFC of TTCC IV.

The incoming CFU is made up of the ‘Galicia’ VII Brigade, based on the personnel of the ‘Santiago’ I Light Armoured Cavalry Group of the ‘Farnese’ Cavalry Regiment No. 12 and consists of the Command and General Staff, Basic Training Squadron, Specific Training Squadron and Services Unit.
