The Combat Training Unit of the TTCC incorporates personnel from the Portuguese Armed Forces as instructors. They will be training their Ukrainian counterparts over the coming weeks.
With the incorporation of six soldiers, the Portuguese country will be in charge of instructing a section of Ukrainians in the basic training module provided by the Combat Training Unit. This training will be carried out together with the Spanish military of the TTCC in Toledo.
The aforementioned TTCC is the structure created by Spain to carry out the mission it has undertaken with the European Union. Under the Operational Command (MOPS), it has a headquarters in Burgos, a permanent Combat Training Unit in Toledo and various specific training modules that are activated on a temporary basis in response to requests from the Ukrainian government.
These activities are carried out in different bases throughout Spain, belonging to the Spanish Armed Forces.
