The quality of the training that our Armed Forces provide as support to Ukrainian military personnel depends on the level of the training of the personnel that directly interact with them. Thus, maintaining and even improving such capability is another task they must undertake.

To this end, the Basic Company of the Combat Training Unit (UFC in Spanish) of the Toledo Training Coordination Center (TTCC), a bastion of the European Union Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAN-UA), makes use of the periods between courses in order to enhance their own capabilities.

Therefore, during July and August, this unit has conducted multiple training actions aimed at the instructors of the so-called Basic Training Modules, which will take place in the upcoming months:

·        Advanced Urban Combat Course.

·        NC-1 level Healthcare Training Course.

·        EASA A1/A3 Drone Operator/Pilot Certificate Course.

·        CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) Defence Training Action.

·        Training Days for Small Arms Combat Shooting and evaluation for the award of badge to selected shooter with gun

·        Digital navigation and management of the Digital Chart activities.

·        Face-to-face Ukrainian language classes.

·        International Humanitarian Law, Third Geneva Convention of 1949 (Prisoners of War).

·        Training in Hand-to-Hand Combat with Edged Weapons.

With this training, our soldiers can expand their knowledge and skills and will be able to provide more effective training. The next Basic Vocational Education Training programme, which will start shortly, will undoubtedly benefit from this higher-level quality standards.
