Spanish military personnel deployed in EUTM RCA participate in the planning and assessment of this training of Central African Commanders, which is taught under the values of the European Union

Fifty members of the Central African Armed Forces (FACA) have begun a one-year training course at the new Non-Commissioned Officers School. This initiative is being developed within the framework of the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA), in which seven Spanish military personnel are deployed.

The military students will share experiences with personnel from EUTM and the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). This will enable them to understand the core values of organisations such as the European Union and the United Nations.

The opening of the Non-Commissioned Officer School is an important milestone in the development and future of this mission. An Officers' School will also be opened and the project is already underway. Thus, after more than 10 years, EUTM RCA continues to make progress towards the development of the FACA, the protection of the country and its people, and the stability of the Central African region.

EUTM RCA is one of the European Union training missions deployed in Africa. The objective of the mission is to assist the Central African Republic Armed Forces (FACA) in the training of commanders and troops, and to advise the Ministry of Defence at the highest level.

These and other tasks are carried out by the Advisory Group (ADG), which integrates management and leadership programmes aimed at the highest military structures.

On the other hand, the Leadership Development Group (LDG) has as its main objective the training of future FACA commanders at the Camp Kassai School (Bangui, CAR). They train Central African military personnel in marksmanship, ethics, foreign languages, leadership and topography.
