The eFP X contingent unit proves its rapid integration capability into the NATO structure.
The eFP X force deployed in Latvia has conducted a live-fire exercise with the recently arrived Field Artillery Battery in the area.
The Battery is composed of six M109A5E howitzers, three surveying teams, two firing data calculation teams, a target acquisition and location team, and a maintenance team to keep the deployed material fully operational. Most of the personnel come from the Field Artillery Regiment No. 11, based in Burgos, and the Information and Location Group II/63, located in León.
By joining Operation Enhanced Forward Presence, Spain is not only reaffirming its commitment to collective defence, but also making an effective contribution to national defence beyond its borders.
