Spanish contingent in Lebanon launches a new edition of the 'Bachiller Carrasco' program

The Civic Military Unit (CIMIC) and the team of psychologists of BRILIB XLI have gone to the Islamic Hasbaya Center for Care and Development "Dar Al Aytam". In this center in the Lebanese town of 'Suq al Khan' they are going to implement the program 'Bachiller Carrasco'.

During the first session, the Spanish psychologists' team took the opportunity to introduce themselves and meet the 12 students, aged 5 to 20, who will benefit from the program. Children with difficult educational needs that the specialists will try to minimize in order to help them in their task of integration into society under the current circumstances.

The psychologist and three of the school’s supervisors who will accompany the CIMIC teams and the Spanish psychologists during the course of the different sessions also attended this first session.

The 'Bachiller Carrasco' program will consist of one face-to-face session per week of our teams interacting with the students and the teaching staff of the Center. They will also provide knowledge and support by collaborating in the monitoring and development of the teaching guides.
