The Inter Movistar indoor football team, from Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), donated sportswear to Lebanese children, delivered by troops belonging to the Lebanon Brigade (BRILIB).
Specifically, the 'Bandera' (Parachute Battalion) 'Roger de Flor' ("neighbours" of this indoor football team) was the unit in charge of receiving, transporting and giving away the stuff, before returning to Spain.
The equipment was transported to Lebanon in mid-June, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the give away was delayed longer than expected.
Finally, the sportswear was distributed in the small town of Ain Arab, located in Southern Lebanon, through a local elementary school. The school director deeply appreciated the efforts of the Spanish military deployed in Lebanon, and also the Spanish team who made the donation.
