A total of 24 officers participated in the course, led by Captain Adrian Garcia Salort
The Spanish mission EUTM Mali XV continues fulfilling its main objective, which is to provide the Malian Army with military training and advice on the chains of command and control, logistics and human resources management, along with international humanitarian law. For that reason, the Course for Company Commanders of the Malian Armed Forces (FAMA) has been carried out, in which 24 captains and lieutenants have been trained in specific techniques, tactics and procedures applied to company commanders; positions that they will hold upon their return to the different units of origin.
Thus, during the last four months, a team of instructors from EUTM Mali, led by Spanish captain Adrián García Salort, trained FAMA officers in instruction and planning methods –defensive, offensive-, as well as stabilization and zone control operations. The training was carried out in the Koulikoro Training Center (KTC).
The Spanish Armed Forces (FAS) continue to show a strong commitment to the stability and security of Mali and the Sahel.
