NATO Industry Forum 2021 and 70th Anniversarof NATO Defense College

• The Spanish Military Representative, together with the rest of the Military Representatives that make up the NATO Military Committee (MC), visits the city of Rome for two different events

Lieutenant General Francisco Javier Fernández Sánchez, tSpanish Military Representative (MILREP) to NATO and European Union Military Committees, participated on the 17th and 18th November in different events included in the NATO Industry Forum 2021 programme, which took place in the city of Rome.

The Forum is NATO's strategic engagement with industry and aims to improve the transparency of NATO's plans for the future, while inviting industry to share its vision and strategies, particularly for research and development.

In addition, the NATO Defence College (NDC) held a number of activities to mark its 70th anniversary as the Alliance's flagship academic facility. Under the slogan "More relevant than ever", a series of events and presentations were held with representatives from NATO (NATO Secretary General) and the Italian government (Minister of Defence). The Military Committee (MC) was present at these series of events and presentations.

Spanish MILREP had the opportunity to meet Spanish teachers and students who are currently integrated within the NATO Staff Course.
