The Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) has participated in the Ibero-American Cyber Defence Forum (FIC) with the aim of enhancing capabilities threats.
The forum was held in Bogota, Colombia, from 20 to 22 October, and was attended by delegations from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal and Uruguay.
The purpose of the FIC is to strengthen all capabilities, especially in response to cyber incidents, in order to improve collaboration and cooperation between allied countries in this type of situation. On this occasion, the forum also hosted the IV Technical Exercise.
During the forum, a series of "Capture The Flag (CTF)" exercises were carried out, in which the delegations competed in a Unified Cyber Operations Platform which, among other aspects, will allow measuring the capabilities and skills of response to simulated actions against digital environments that may affect the civilian or military population.
Subsequently, a summit of commanders of the participating countries has been held in order to generate international cooperation ties and thus strengthen the defence in the cyberspace field of the countries participating in the forum.
