  • The current edition is held from November to January 2021 in virtual format

Following the success of the first edition held in 2019, the “Guardia Civil” has organized the second edition of the National Cyber League which, unlike the previous one and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held entirely in virtual format.

The opening ceremony took place on September the 28th at the General Directorate of the “Guardia Civil” HQ and the qualifying stage will be held on November the 5th.

The Joint Cyberspace Command takes part as an associate of the “Guardia Civil”, attending a virtual stand, where participants will be able to learn how the Spanish Armed Forces and, specially, the MCCE contribute to National Security, to the defence of the interests of Spain and to the welfare of Spaniards.

The objective of the competition, related to the 2019 National Cybersecurity Strategy, is to promote a culture and commitment to cybersecurity and the enhancement of human and technological capabilities. In this regard, it is aimed at students of any official university education or professional training.
