The Commander of the Joint Cyber Defence Command participates in the 'International Cybersecurity Forum 2020

·         The International Cybersecurity Forum (ICF) 2020 was held from 28-30 January in Lille.

The commander of the Joint Cyber Defence Command (MCCD in Spanish), Major General Rafael García Hernández, participated from 28th to 30th January in the International Cybersecurity Forum (ICF) 2020, one of the most important events on this subject in Europe.

Organised by the French Gendarmerie, the forum was entitled "Putting Human Beings at the Heart of Cybersecurity" and it was structured around several conferences and round table discussions in which various experts from public and private institutions took part.

General García Hernández participated in the round table on military cyber defence, moderated by Lieutenant General Jean Paul Palomeros, with the participation of Major General Difiere Tisseyre (French ComCyber), German Brigadier General Júgen Setzer, Rear Admiral William Wheeler (US CyberCom) and Gérald Vernez, representing Switzerland.

The main objective of this forum is to promote multinational collaboration in cyberspace and to strengthen ties and mutal cooperation.
