The Joint Cyber Command (MCCE) participated in the international event Beyond Cybersecurity, held in Barcelona, where it provided insight into its work in the field of cyber defence.
Specifically, the MCCE participated in the round table discussion on ‘Sovereignty and Cybersecurity’, highlighting the importance of cooperation between the Armed Forces and the State Security Forces and Corps in order to combat cybercrime.
In addition, the need to continue raising awareness among society about the risks that exist online was highlighted, since, although younger generations are digital natives, they must be aware of the dangers and threats that exist on the Internet.
This round table discussion, moderated by Carles Flamerich, CEO of Apolo Cybersecurity, also included a representative from the Mossos d'Esquadra and another from the Civil Guard.
