The MCCE recognised for promoting cybersecurity culture and innovating in cyber defence solutions

The Joint Cyber Command (MCCE) has been honoured at the Lisa Institute conference “The Future of Talent in Security, Intelligence and Defence” for promoting cybersecurity culture and innovating in the design and implementation of cyber defence solutions.

Vice Admiral Javier Roca, commander of the MCCE, received the award as the highest representative of the Command and thanked the LISA Institute for recognising the work carried out by the Armed Forces in this field.

This conference brought together the highest authorities, professors and students of the LISA Institute in Madrid, with the aim of sharing experiences, knowledge and trends in the labour market. To this end, round tables, networking activities and award ceremonies were organised.

The MCCE participated in the round table discussion “Cybersecurity, a great opportunity for both technical and non-technical professionals”. In his speech, Commander Pérez de Tena discussed various aspects with the other speakers, such as key knowledge and skills; the professional profiles most needed by organisations; the specialities with the brightest future; how technological innovations will impact different professional roles; and the vision for the future in this professional environment.

This round table was moderated by David Vázquez, Academic Director of Criminology and Cybersecurity, together with Leandro Gobierno, Head of the Cybersecurity Coordination Office (OCC - Ministry of the Interior); Marc Rivero, Lead Cybersecurity Researcher at Kaspersky; and David Marugán, Cybersecurity, COMINT and SIGNIT Expert at Titanium Industrial Security.
