The MCCE has taken part in various training sessions, networking activities, and the closing ceremony

Spain’s Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) has participated in the Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp, an event organised by the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE, in Spanish), the Organisation of American States (OAS, in Spanish), and the University of León, which brought together a large number of cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts over the course of two weeks.

MCCE personnel took part in a range of training sessions aimed at strengthening and enhancing the Command’s cyber capabilities; in networking activities, including role-play exercises, practical workshops, and guided tours of the city, as well as in the closing ceremony.

The event comprised five different training tracks, totalling more than 200 hours of instruction. These programmes were designed for Police Investigations (FFCCS, in Spanish), CSIRT Operations, Legal Investigations, Financial Investigations, and Policy Makers.

Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp 2025 surpassed the figures of the previous edition, with more than 418 participants from 35 countries and over 100 speakers. As a result, it has consolidated its position as a global benchmark event, with training delivered in three languages: Spanish, English, and French.

Such events and forums enable the MCCE to receive specialised training, raise its profile, and build essential relationships that foster public–private cooperation. Even in a virtual domain – which defines the Command’s core mission – interprofessional relations significantly strengthen cybersecurity and cyber defence capabilities.
