The Joint Cyberspace Command renews its role as a representative of the CSIRT.es Forum Coordinating Committee

•  The main objectives of the CSIRT.es Forum are to foster cooperation between Spanish CSIRTs; to share relevant cybersecurity information; and to offer support in the creation of new CSIRTs

The Joint Cyberspace Command (ESPDEF-CERT) has renewed its representation in the Coordinating Committee of the CSIRT.es Forum during the meeting of its members, held at the Retamares Base.

Thus, ESPDEF-CERT, which has been a member of the committee since 2024, has once again presented its candidacy to continue its work. Specifically, it is Lieutenant Federico Bolívar who assumes this responsibility, while Antonio Villalón, from S2Grupo, was elected to represent the private sector.

This re-election represents for ESPDEF-CERT the responsibility to consolidate, during its second and final year, the initiatives already underway, as well as to continue promoting the activity and visibility of the national CSIRTs forum.

It should be noted that the main objectives of the CSIRT.es Forum include fostering cooperation between Spanish incident response teams (CSIRTs), both in incident management and in the development of joint projects; sharing relevant information on cybersecurity; offering support in the creation of new CSIRTs; and collaborating with other similar forums and initiatives, both nationally and internationally.
