Within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the 26th meeting of the Forum of European Governmental Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT.Network) was held in Kraków. This meeting took place during Cyber Week, organised by the rotating Presidency, and brought together representatives from the principal national CSIRTs of EU Member States.
Over the course of two working days, key aspects were discussed to enhance European cyber resilience, with particular emphasis on the forthcoming cybersecurity incident management plan and preparatory measures in response to potential large-scale cyber crises. Strategic issues relevant to the cybersecurity community were also addressed, such as sustainable funding options for the maintenance of the CVE vulnerability database currently managed by MITRE.
ESPDEF-CERT, part of the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE in Spanish), took part in the meeting, represented by Federico Bolívar from the Operations Staff.
