Undersecretary of Defence Visits the Joint Cyberspace Command

• The Undersecretary of Defence, Adoración Mateos Tejada, visited the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), where she was briefed on the Command’s capabilities in responding to cyberattack

The Commander of the MCCE, Vice Admiral Francisco Javier Roca Rivero, together with the Deputy Commander, Brigadier General Federico Juste de Santa Ana, welcomed the Undersecretary and presented the Command’s cutting-edge technological capabilities and courses of action.

The visit began with a formal line-up, followed by a presentation delivered by the Commander of the MCCE in the General López Medina Room. Lieutenant Colonel Fernando Palop Alcaide, Director of the Military School of Cyber Operations, also provided an overview of the school’s mission and the training programmes currently being delivered.

To conclude the visit, MCCE specialists conducted a live technical demonstration, showcasing the 5G bubble and tools designed to counter threats using Artificial Intelligence.
