First Geopolitical Conference of the Institute of Strategic Studies

•  This event analysed global strategic challenges and current geopolitical dynamics.

Lieutenant General Miguel Ballenilla (Director of CESEDEN), General Víctor Bados (Director of IEEE), and General Carlos Frías (Director of the Army War College) participated in the discussions, alongside Josep Borrell, Ambassadors Emilio Cassinello, Ángel Losada, Emilio De Miguel, Bernardino León, as well as representatives from companies such as Ángel Bautista (Repsol) and Ana Cerezo (Iberdrola), and a select group of professors and academics in International Relations, along with both civil and military analysts.

The IEEE will publish the key highlights of the Conference, which is intended to be a recurring event. Next year, we shall meet again at La Granja. It is essential to build independent strategic thought in Spain. Many thanks to all the participants!
