NATO instructors of Bulgarian, Irish, and Italian nationality delivered the course "Integration of Cyberspace Considerations into Operational Planning" at the Joint Cyber Command, with the aim of providing knowledge on the integration of cyberspace domain capabilities into military operations to the 35 participants from the Joint Special Operations Command, Operations Command, and Joint Cyber Command.
The main knowledge acquired by the participants included identifying operational needs in the cyberspace domain, integrating cyber capabilities into operations, and understanding the organization, capabilities, and limitations of NATO and allied nations in cyberspace operations.
This course expands knowledge on several topics, including cybersecurity incident management, cyber intelligence, risk assessment, NATO’s perspective on operations, legal considerations in cyber operations, and coordination of national authorities during a cyber crisis.
