The Commander of the Joint Cyberspace Command, Vice Admiral Francisco Javier Roca Rivero, gave a master lecture at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza on strategic awareness of multi-domain operations and the integration of cyberspace into military operations.
The lecture emphasised the importance of creating synergies and coordination between the land, maritime, air and space domains, with cyberspace being presented as an element that it is essential to integrate. This is not only limited to military operations, but also to the development of new platforms and combat systems.
The Vice Admiral provided the students with his experience, know-how and operational knowledge to shed light on the scenarios we constantly face in the grey zone, where cyberspace is a key player.
The Vice Admiral has explained to the students of the General Military Academy the current situation to be faced by the multi-domain approach, the national operational approach and, in addition, what this position is in the face of the international environment and the continuous and growing hybrid threats. All this with the aim of training professionals who are aware of this reality and who will be able to make the best choices in their positions and in the responsibilities assigned to them.
