From 4 to 7 November 2024, the sixth edition of the National Cyber League was held at the Guardia Civil Officers' Academy and the University Centre of Guardia Civil, as well as at the Guardia Civil Orphans Association, organised by both the Guardia Civil and the FBI of the United States.

This prestigious competition, which has been growing year after year, is divided into an academic and a professional phase. The main goal of the academic phase is to foster healthy competition in the search for future talent. The professional phase, with a high level of requirement, counted with the participation of the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) and the Spanish Defence Systems Engineering (ISDEFE).

The main aim of this professional phase is to enhance and strengthen the global cybersecurity ecosystem through collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and skills among participants. It provides a unique chance for the elite teams to demonstrate their skills and capabilities and also to improve their cyber-investigation and incident management skills throughout the competition.

The event involved 28 different security agencies, 7 of them from Spain, comprising 16 participating countries. The MCCE was represented by the First Sergeant (OR-8) Jimenez Madrid and Private Recarte, alongside the ISDEFE engineer, Ángel Ruiz.
