The Joint Cyberspace Command participates in the 'C1B3RWALL' conference at the National Police School in Ávila

  • The Commander of the MCCE, Javier Roca, gave a lecture on Leadership in Cyberspace.
The IV edition of the Digital Security and Cyberintelligence Congress "C1b3rWall", organised by the National Police Corps in the facilities of the National Police School of Avila, was held in Avila. This edition, whose motto has been 'Secure Intelligence', has had more than 8,500 registered participants, in addition to 310 speakers in different courses and workshops.

The Joint Cyberspace Command, as part of the collaborators invited by the National Police Corps, had the opportunity to exhibit its capabilities through an information space near the main entrance, which allowed the MCCE and the Armed Forces to be publicised through information, leaflets and souvenirs.

In addition to the fixed stand, the MCCE gave several lectures by the Commander of the Joint Cyberspace Command, Vice Admiral Javier Roca Rivero and Frigate Captain Enrique Pérez de Tena Martos. The presentations were very positively received, given that the work of the Command is often unknown to society. Therefore, publicising the capabilities of the MCCE contributes positively to the dissemination of national defence culture.

The treatment given to the members of the Command by the National Police and its support personnel should be highlighted.
Strengthening ties between the different State Security Forces and Corps is the most effective guarantee for protecting Spain, both nationally and internationally and, of course, in cyberspace, a constant battlefield of which little is known and in which so much happens.
