Madrid
December 22, 2023
  • The National Cryptologic Centre certifies that the MCCE has the necessary technical capability
The Audit Group of the Cyber Defence Systems Headquarters of the Joint Cyberspace Command has been definitively recognised as a Public Sector Technical Audit Body.

The Joint Cyberspace Command as ESPDEF-CERT has obtained the certificate recognising it as a Technical Audit Body (TAB) of the National Security Scheme. In this sense, the Audit Group, as a Public Sector TAO, is qualified to carry out National Security Scheme certification audits of the Ministry of Defence systems for which such support is requested.

Both military and civilian personnel from ISDEFE's technical assistance to the MCCE, who are part of the Audit Group, demonstrated the competence, technical capacity and other requirements for obtaining the recognition certificates. The scope of the Certificates of Recognition are the audit and certification activities of the Audit Group of the MCCE in relation to the Information Systems of the Ministry of Defence within the scope of the National Security Scheme.

The Chief Auditor and the rest of the NCC team who carried out the assessment of the staff of the MCCE Audit Group agree on the significant level of improvement shown by the Joint Cyberspace Command's OAT at the organisational and procedural level.

Following the assessment and recognition decision by the CCN assessment team, the JCCC OAT is now officially listed on the CCN Portal.

The MCCE has taken another step forward and remains ready to carry out its mission, which is to ensure the SAF's freedom of action in cyberspace.
