- Students get acquainted with the current status of the Joint Cyberspace Command and the Military Cyber Operations School.
As part of the activities planned for the IV Higher CIS Course of the Spanish Army, both the students and the course management visited the facilities of the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE).
During the visit, two lectures were given, the first by the Chief of Staff of the MCCE, Captain José Ángel Hernández Rodríguez and the second by the Director of the Military School of Cyber Operations (EMCO), Colonel Francisco Palomo Pérez.
Through both conferences, the attendees were able to gain in-depth knowledge of both the capabilities and future projections of the Command and the teaching experiences being carried out at the EMCO, a recently created organisation whose facilities enable it to provide the MCCE with personnel perfectly trained in the specific needs of a unit as complex as this one. These visits, which are always welcome, provide the MCCE with the opportunity to make itself known and increase awareness of cyber defence within our Armed Forces and, moreover, with a student body whose technical knowledge is so advanced, to initiate profitable exchanges to enrich both parties.
