Commander of the Joint Cyberspace Command takes handover for Cyber Commanders Forum

• The Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) obtains the presidency of the Cyber Commanders Forum during its next period, coinciding with the Spanish Presidency of the European Union.

The city of Krakow in Poland hosted the thirteenth meeting of the Cyber Commanders Forum (CCF).

This organisation serves as a point of contact for cyber commanders from 42 countries, allowing them to coordinate and learn first-hand about the points of view and approaches to cyber defence of their different counterparts.

The MCCE, within this field, is considered a Command of reference and the perception of our country is positive, considered a reliable and solvent ally, capable of contributing a great deal of experience and knowledge to this fifth operational environment.

Major General Rafael García Hernández, Commander of the MCCE, assumed the presidency of this forum for the next cycle as chairman, creating an interesting diplomatic momentum together with the Spanish Presidency of the European Union.

We have the opportunity to exert a positive inertia in all international decisions taken in the field of cyber defence.
