The 'C1B3WALL Conference' was held at the National Police Academy in Ávila. The main objective of this event was to present the cyber and technological capabilities of numerous sponsors, as well as to raise awareness of the risks involved in these capabilities through lectures and round tables presented by a multitude of collaborators.
During the course of the conference, workshops and activities were held to present these capabilities to the attendees. The Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), as part of the partners invited by the National Police Force, presented its capabilities and conducted recruitment through an information space near the main entrance.
In addition to the fixed post, the MCCE has given several lectures by frigate captain Enrique Pérez de Tena Martos and lieutenant commander José Cibeira Urtiaga, with a great acceptance as the work of the Command is often unknown to the population.
The event concluded with a visit from the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, who thanked the MCCE personnel for their presence at the event and received a commemorative coin from the Command. The exceptional treatment given to the members of the Command by the National Police and its support staff, who were always willing to cooperate and help the team, should be highlighted.
Strengthening ties between the different State Security Forces and Corps is the most effective guarantee for protecting Spain, both nationally and internationally and, of course, in the networks, a constant battlefield of which little is known but so much happens.
