Ukrainian military trainees in Burgos receive the support of their compatriots with a dance performance.

• The 'Anna Dzioubenko' dance centre in Logroño has offered a show to the soldiers in training from Burgos.

The 'Cid Campeador' Military Base, in the town of Castrillo del Val in Burgos, was the setting for a dance performance by the 'Anna Dzioubenko' centre. An activity with which they wanted to pay tribute to the Ukrainian soldiers who are training in Spain and to thank the Spanish personnel who are training them.

This performance was made possible thanks to Anna Dzioubenko, director of the dance centre, and one of the regular Ukrainian performers of the EUMAN UA-II operation.

The contemporary dance show with Ukrainian pop music was performed by 12 dancers from this dance school in Logroño. The Spanish instructors and the Ukrainian personnel who are training in Burgos attended the event.

This type of activity is an example of the bonds that can be strengthened through cultural exchange and is welcomed by the Ukrainian staff who are training in Spain. On the one hand, it allows them to disconnect for a few hours from the daily effort and on the other hand, they receive the support and affection of both the Ukrainian citizens living in Spain and the Spanish population.

This group of Ukrainians are undergoing their specific training in the 4th sappers' module taught by the 1st Engineer Regiment to help improve the skills of these sappers belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
