IE University visits Joint Cyberspace Command to learn about its capabilities, status and future

A group of representatives of the IE University, business school of "IE University", has visited the facilities of the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) and has received a lecture on the capabilities and the current situation of our Command, as well as the future projection regarding the staff expansion planned for our Unit. They have been received by the commander of the MCCE, Major General Rafael García Hernández, and have received the explanations about the Command in a lecture given by the frigate captain Enrique Pérez de Tena, head of the Cooperation and IR Section. The visit concluded with a tour of the different Joint Commands located at the Retamares Base.

IE University has expressed its interest in developing degrees dedicated to cybersecurity, a discipline that is increasingly in demand due to the great relevance of computer systems of all kinds. In this field, the MCCE is the tool that the Armed Forces have to guarantee security and freedom of action in the networks and any opportunity to strengthen inter-institutional ties will undoubtedly increase awareness of these new threats, so relevant in all aspects of our daily lives.
