The Centre of Excellence against Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED CoE) has organised the fifth edition of the Technology Workshop 22 in Segovia from 25 to 27 October.

Officially opened by the Mayoress of the city, Clara Martín García and the Colonel Director of the C-IED CoE, Javier Corbacho Margallo, the event aimed to provide the C-IED community of interest with an overview and update on the latest technologies that support their work.

In this fifth edition, the seminar featured a number of current C-IED conferences, with twenty-six speakers from NATO and Allied countries. It was also possible to visit the exhibitions and displays of the different systems by each of the twenty-two companies from the Security and Defence sector authorised for the event.

The Technology Workshop provided a good environment for both the exchange of information and the acquisition of knowledge on the tools under development to help address the evolving threat of IEDs.
