  • The lecture focused on raising awareness and talent recruitment

Personnel from the Joint Cyber Command (MCCE), represented by its Institutional Relations and Communications Office, alongside staff from the Recruitment Office of the Defence Subdelegation in A Coruña, delivered a lecture on the current and future status of the MCCE, as well as the different pathways to join the Armed Forces and work with the Command, at the School of Computer Science, University of A Coruña.

Attendees, who were Master's students in Cybersecurity, gained first-hand insight into the doctrinal and operational realities of the Command, as well as its structure, functions, and capabilities. They were briefed on the hybrid threats the Command faces daily, highlighting the importance of having professionals who are both technically skilled and vocally committed.

Recruiting motivated and well-prepared talent is a priority for our unit, which is continuously expanding. Cyber defence is one of the primary concerns where the Armed Forces must make a significant difference. These types of lectures, in addition to promoting Defence Culture, enable the MCCE to attract individuals interested in serving Spain within a domain as contemporary as cyberspace.
