The Defence Staff HQ receives greener vehicles

• These hybrid vehicles manufactured by SEAT combine unleaded gasoline and compressed natural gas.

The Headquarters’ Security and Services Office of the Defence Staff has received nine SEAT Ibiza TGi cars.

These are hybrid vehicles which combine compressed natural gas and gasoline, in a clear example of EMAD's commitment to being green, since using more ecological fuels reduces emissions compared to other models, it contributes to improve air cleanliness.

In addition, fuel consumption is much lower than other conventional motor vehicles, so maintenance is cheaper.  Driving an ecological vehicle grants EMAD personnel to get access to the whole city, including those areas restricted to ecological ones.

These vehicles will make it possible to increase the capabilities of several units of the Defence Staff.
